Details: The Port of Hueneme was awarded $2 million in grant funding from the state of California’s Port & Freight Infrastructure Program for the S.P.E.E.D. (Sustainability, Prosperity, Education, Equity-Driven) Initiative – a groundbreaking force for community transformation, positioning the cities of Oxnard and Port Hueneme as regional leaders in inclusive economic development, environmental stewardship, and social equity.
During this webinar, experts from the Port of Hueneme will outline the goals and benefits of the S.P.E.E.D. Initiative and how this project can serve as a model for improved community engagement, partnership, and workforce development.
