Amanda Hampton is the communications manager for the Coalition for America’s Gateways and Trade Corridors (CAGTC). In her role, she leads the development and distribution of the Coalition’s bi-monthly newsletters and manages content across the website and social media accounts. Additionally, she helps plan the CAGTC annual meeting and coordinates legislative outreach for the membership. She also monitors and analyzes regulatory and legislative actions impacting CAGTC interests to keep members informed about relevant policy updates.
Prior to joining CAGTC, Amanda interned in the U.S. House of Representatives for Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson – a long-standing member of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. As a congressional intern, she conducted legislative research, developed social media content, and corresponded with constituents.
Amanda graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.A. in Public Relations. Amanda is a native of Houston, Texas.
