12/14/2017 CAGTC: Coalition Testifying at 12/20 Senate EPW Subcommittee Hearing

CAGTC Members,

The Senate Environment and Public Works Subcommittee on Transportation and Infrastructure will hold a hearing at 10:30am on Wednesday, December 20 in 406 Dirksen Senate Office Building. The hearing is titled “Freight Movement: Assessing Where We Are Now and Where We Need to Go.” CAGTC has been invited to testify at the hearing by Chairman Inhofe (R-OK). Mark Policinski, CEO of the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments (OKI), will testify on behalf of both OKI and the Coalition.

The hearing will examine the state of the U.S. freight network as well as the implementation of MAP-21 and FAST Act freight provisions. CAGTC will cover this hearing and circulate a summary of relevant conversation after it concludes. A full witness list has not yet been released but more information and a livestream of the hearing will be found online here when available.
