Feds grant WSDOT $74M to reduce I-5 congestion, complete ‘missing links’

The grant is part of the Infrastructure for Rebuilding America (INFRA) grant program, through which USDOT proposed $906 million in funds to 20 projects in as many states. USDOT can begin obligating funds after a 60-day review period for Congress, which hasn't blocked funding for the program in its five-year history, said Elaine Nessle, executive director of the Coalition For America’s Gateways and Trade Corridors.
