On December 20, Mark Policinski of Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments (OKI) testified on behalf of both CAGTC and OKI before the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works’ Subcommittee on Transportation & Infrastructure during a hearing titled “Freight Movement: Assessing Where We Are Now And Where We Need To Go.” He called on Congress to create a national strategy for freight investment to provide dedicated, sustainable and flexible funding for multimodal freight infrastructure projects.
