07/14/17 CAGTC: Summary of 7/13 INFRA Webinar & Newsletter Solicitation

CAGTC Members,

I am writing today with a few updates. Linked are the notes and presentation from the July 13 USDOT webinar titled “How to Compete for INFRA Grants.” During the webinar, Paul Baumer, Policy Advisor to the Undersecretary of Transportation for Policy at USDOT, provided a summary of the changes USDOT made to the criteria for the INFRA program. He then spent about an hour and a half answering questions from webinar attendees about the program, including questions regarding whether or not the program will continue to be freight focused and clarifying various selection criteria requirements.

Secondly, as you most likely know, CAGTC puts out a bimonthly newsletter titled the Trade Corridor Bulletin. This newsletter is distributed to over 3,000 subscribers, including Capitol Hill staff, members of the Administration, and various transportation organizations. Each edition includes industry updates, key news developments and more. CAGTC also likes to highlight our members in each publication in our Member Spotlight or New Member Spotlight sections. An example of this can be found in our most recent newsletter, here. If your organization has something exciting it would like to feature or if you would like to introduce yourselves to our wide audience, please reach out to me! The next feature will be included in our September edition.

Thank you,

Katie Cross
