08/07/17 CAGTC: FASTLANE October 2016 NOFO Small Project Set Aside Award List

CAGTC Members,

A full list of USDOT’s selections for the small project set aside funds from the October 2016 FASTLANE grant notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) has been released. USDOT selected 10 projects to receive a total of around $80 million in funding. Secretary Chao wrote Congress to notify them of USDOT’s proposed selections, beginning the 60-day Congressional review period, as required by the FAST Act. Per statute, Congress can veto a USDOT grant decision by enacting a joint resolution within the 60 day notification window. Let us know if you’re a partner on a project that has  received an award!

You can find the House T&I statement about the grants here. CAGTC will be analyzing award decisions and project types and will be back with more information.

As a reminder, USDOT released a NOFO last month renaming the FASTLANE program the INFRA program and combining the rest of the FY17 funds with the FY18 funds. The new NOFO makes around $1.5 billion available and applications are due November 2, 2017.

Thanks,
